Job Title: Sales Engineer

I. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
61 Customer Visiting:
□ Visits customers periodically to build and maintain positive relationships;
□ Anticipates and identifies potential customer needs, circumstance and purchasing intentions;
□ Comprehends competitors’ product features and advantages, with information from their customers;
□ Follows up on demo experiments and collect feedback.
61 Resource Allocation
□ Coordinates resources from other departments, like Marketing and Service team to deliver solutions to meet customer expectations;
□ Collaborates and communicates internally on critical and special problems solving, etc., to improve customer satisfaction.
61 Closes Deal
□ Participates in bidding document preparation, tendering and bidding process, project negotiation, collecting the receivable accounts and other activities to close deal smoothly;
□ Follows standard internal procedures and government regulations on quotation process, discount approval and other business activities; ensures compliance integrity.
61 Explores Opportunities
□ Attends seminars, exhibitions and demonstrations to promote company business;
□ Builds up networking among customers to enhance company’s brand image and competitiveness.
II. REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION
61 Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences
61 At least 5 years of prior sales experience required; preferably in life science consumables
61 Excellent selling skill, negotiation skill and communication skill is a must for this position.
61 Familiar with industry, product, and competitor knowledge
61 Skilled in listening and responding quickly to customer needs, able to utilize internal resources to build and deliver solutions that meet customer expectations and influence customer outcomes
61 Ability to analyze, integrate, judge, and solve complex problems
61 Able to collaborate across departments and make good use of resources from other departments to solve problems
61 Strong ability and desire to set goals that can expand oneself and deliver high-quality, on-time results, and achieve sales revenue targets within designated areas.
61 Cultivate and implement breakthrough thinking to drive growth
